Protecting Personal Data: Governance, Security & Leadership Conference

This years Effective Information Sharing & Security (EISS) Conference will explore the theme of protecting personal data through three lenses of data protection; governance, security and leadership.

In celebration of a decade hosting the North West Warning, Advice and Reporting Point (WARP) iNetwork’s Partnership Director Shelley Heckman will host a Panel of previous and current NW-WARP Chairs to discuss the benefits of networking, collaboration and sharing best practice in relation to protecting personal data.

The morning’s plenary sessions will see delegates benefit from insights and key learning from a real world, public sector cyber-attack, as well as hearing about work to encourage cost efficiencies through investment in cyber security at a local NHS hospital.

The afternoon will comprise of nine seminars, streamed into three disciplines: information governance, information security & information leadership. A variety of workshops will be delivered by public sector and central government organisations, private sector partners and iNetwork member organisations.

This will be a fantastic networking opportunity for data protection professionals and promises to be an informative, educational and enjoyable conference for all delegates wether they consider themselves governance or security practitioners, information leaders, or all three!
