iNetwork Champions
The iNetwork Champions Programme is a service that harnesses the most engaged iNetwork members to be Champions, so that they and their organisations get the most out of their membership of iNetwork. In return, we shall invest in you and support your professional development and growth.
We want all of our member organisations to make the most of our offerings here at iNetwork. Being a Champion on one of the following programmes ensures that you and your organisation get the most out of iNetwork and in turn we will support you with your career progression through various methods shown below in ‘the benefits’.
We are looking for champions to represent the following programme areas;
- Transforming & Innovating Public Services (TIPS)
- Connected Procurement & Commissioning (CPC)
- Effective Information Sharing & Security (EISS)
- iStandUK

iNetwork’s Champions Programme
- PURPOSE
The key purpose of the iNetwork Champions Programme is:
The aim of iNetwork’s Champions Programme is to provide support to and governance over the activities undertaken within iNetwork and boost overall engagement of iNetwork members. Champions will maximise the benefits sought from our subscribed organisations, allowing public service professionals to have convenient access to our multitude of offerings. Implement a new system, whereby an enhanced communication stream is maintained between our Stakeholder Engagement Managers (SEMs) and three representatives from each member organisation.
- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Roles & Responsibilities of the Champion:
- Provide vision and ideas for the programme you are a Champion to.
- Receive and review related papers, events, updates on the programme you are aligned with and share these updates widely within your organisation.
- Be an ambassador of iNetwork by representing iNetwork within your organisation and other bodies, partnerships and networks where appropriate, and champion the work of your respective programme among TIPS practitioners to its profile.
- Attend a check-in once a year with our team on an organisational basis, with other champions in your organisation. The annual check-in serves as a short meeting in order to provide any updates, queries, or concerns across our partnerships.
- Attend a check in once a year on a programme basis with other champions of your respective programme across the iNetwork membership.
Roles & Responsibilities of the iNetwork staff
- Offer tailored, bespoke training and development opportunities, such as mentoring schemes and masterclass programmes
- Provide programme updates to Champions that can be disseminated more widely in their organisation.
- Offer opportunities for networking and collaboration across your champion network
- Ensure that all Champions have the calendar invite for events.
- Support champions to engage and shape their respective programmes
- Showcase champions through a new innovation awards category
- Support champions in ensuring their organisation makes the most of their iNetwork membership
- Provide fast responses to Ad hoc requests and member requests.
- Organise the annual check in meeting with your organisation and the annual programme meeting with all champions for that programme
- Share the voice of champions to influence national agendas and initiatives
- Support champions to access other cornerstone services: WARP, collaborative procurement, ect
- ACCOUNTABILITY AND GOVERNANCE
The SEM’s for each programme area will coordinate the Champions for that programme area. The Champions input will be inputted into quarterly NLG meetings. This will in turn lead to communication with the iNetwork Executive Board. The iNetwork Executive Board has overall governance for the entire iNetwork Programme.
- MEMBERSHIP
It is anticipated that we will have representatives from all sub regions within iNetwork’s membership. Champions must be from organisations that hold a current membership subscription with iNetwork. Exceptions are to be considered by the iNetwork Executive Board.
- CONDITIONS
In order to be an iNetwork Champion, this will require your consent and acknowledgement that you will serve as an organisational contact point of the relevant programme area.
- Attend an annual check-in with our team, this check-in will serve as a short meeting in order to provide any updates, queries, or concerns across our partnerships.
- Subscribed to our iNetwork mailing list.
- Consenting to your photo being used on our website.
- Consenting to serve as the point of contact that we can refer to when people in your organisation want to learn more about iNetwork.
- Agreeing to champion the work of iNetwork.
- Agreeing to promote iNetwork events within your organisation.
- Engage in communication channels with iNetwork to maximise the use of our member benefits.
