Protecting Public Data: The Human Factor
We are delighted to announce that the 6th Annual Northern WARP Conference will take place on Friday 03rd July 2026 in Manchester at the Kings House Conference Centre.
We will be running this as a hybrid event so you will also be able to access remotely if you are unable to attend in person. The theme for the Northern WARP Conference 2026 is: Protecting Public Data – The Human Factor
Throughout the day, we will explore topics including:
- The growing cyber skills gap and its impact on workforce resilience
- Understanding criminal behaviour to strengthen strategy and response
- Building a security-aware culture through effective staff training
- The role of leadership in driving governance, accountability and organisational readiness
- Strengthening connections across WARP communities to support peer learning, intelligence sharing and collective problem-solving
- Real-world insights from experts, practitioners and threat specialists
This conference is brought to you by the Northern WARP, a cyber-collaboration across the North which includes the NorthWest WARP, Yorkshire & Humber WARP & ISNorthEast WARP. The conference is free to attend for all WARP organisations across the UK and colleagues within your organisation who are not named WARP representatives are also welcome to attend.
