We are very pleased to share that Sarah Bullock has been reappointed as Deputy Chair of iNetwork for a further two?year term.
At a time when public services are under increasing pressure, having continuity, experience and clear?headed leadership really matters. Sarah brings all three.
Sarah is currently Strategic Director of Corporate Services at Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council and has more than 25 years’ experience across local government, central government and the NHS. Throughout her career, she has focused on improving how public services work in practice – shaping policy, leading organisational change and always keeping delivery firmly in mind.
Reflecting on her reappointment, Sarah said:
“I’m delighted to be reappointed as Deputy Chair of iNetwork. I’ve been part of the community for many years, so it’s great to continue supporting a network that is rooted in collaboration, openness and learning from one another. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues over the next two years to help iNetwork continue to grow and evolve.”
Sarah has been part of the iNetwork community for many years, long before taking on the Deputy Chair role. That history means she understands the realities our members face and brings a practical, grounded perspective as iNetwork continues to evolve.
Over the past year, Sarah has played an important role in helping shape and support several key pieces of work, including:
- The Champions Programme, which focuses on developing and supporting individual leaders across the network
- The Shared Savings Programme, helping organisations find efficiencies while protecting service quality
Alongside her professional roles, including her work as an LGA Peer Reviewer, Sarah is a strong advocate for inclusive leadership and developing future talent. Outside of work, that same determination carries through into her role as an Ambassador for GB Ultras.
We are delighted that Sarah will continue as Deputy Chair and very much look forward to working with her over the next two years as iNetwork continues to support better outcomes for communities across the region.
If you’re not currently part of iNetwork but would like to be involved, we would love to hear from you. iNetwork brings together people working across the public sector and wider ecosystem who are keen to share learning, collaborate, and support improvement in practice.
