The report from the round-table discussion on Simulated Phishing Exercises (SPE) that iNetwork held on 25th November 2019 is now available to iNetwork members.
The round-table discussion, attended by 18 delegates from 16 organisations came together to discuss all aspects of deploying simulated phishing exercises within our organisations. Chaired by David Willis,Head of Cyber Governance & Assurance at GMHSCP, the session aimed to address questions such as: what is SPE? How can this be done? What are the benefits? What pitfalls should we avoid? Who has successfully done this?
The round-table featured presentations from Phishing Tackle and Chess ICT. Chess ICT talked about Gaining Access to O365 with MFA ByPass; their presentation is available to iNetwork members. Delegates were invited to discuss and share their own experiences; of particular interest were the experiences of SPE from colleagues at Oldham Council and Tameside MBC.
The post event report details key findings, information about types of phishing attacks, highlights from the discussion, and key learning. iNetwork members can access the report and all associated resources from that event on the Knowledge Hub.
