I have been with the partnership for 15+ years and I can truly say that this work is quite unique which makes it very difficult for a job advert to bring such a pivotal role to life, so here are some of my highlights.
I can honestly say that my lead of the Transforming & Innovating Public Services programme has made a real difference to the people in my community and the people they serve. I am very proud to have been the Stakeholder Engagement Manager for such a wonderful, innovative group of talented like-minded people, you have made the journey a pleasure.
The role offers you a creative space to learn and grow on the job; I have gained so much from my peers over the years! Sometimes I surprise myself with the knowledge that I have retained!
I know everybody says this about their team, but the iNetwork team are truly inspirational and passionate people, who do so much for such a small team. They are empowered to bring ideas and opinions to the programmes; the focus is on developing everyone to support the goals of iNetwork.
The role itself offers you a window to develop a broad perspective and see not only the challenges but also the innovative and transformative solutions for the local public sector.
The breath of travel is really, interesting and you get to see so many great places and people, obviously, this is when current restrictions allow.
However, I must say the biggest and best part of the role is meeting the ‘people’ and building relationships, friendships, not just in your own iNetwork community, also across all of the partnership. In this role, you do not build the programme, you build the people, and the wealth of the partnership is our member’s collective contribution.
If you are ambitious and have great people skills, and you can bring individuals/organisations together to facilitate a meaningful conversation with knowledge exchange, then this is definitely the role for you!
