We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our fourth Northern WARP Conference this year. The Northern WARP conference is a cyber collaboration across the North which includes the North West WARP, Yorkshire and Humber WARP and IS North East WARP.
Due to the announcement of the upcoming General Election on 04th July, this conference has been rescheduled from the 05th July to the 13th September 2024. This will be a hybrid event, available online or in-person at the Kings House Conference Centre, Manchester.
The conference will provide an exciting space to hear from expert speakers from government and industry speak about a range of topics related to cyber/information security, information governance and information management.
This year we are laser-focused on tackling the most pressing cyber challenges in the local public sector, including the rapidly evolving impact of AI, to drive innovation and efficiencies. By doing so, we’ll curate a rich and diverse program that caters to the unique needs of our WARP members, ensuring each one finds valuable insights and connections to propel their organisation forward.
In addition to the in-person experience, we are excited to offer a virtual component to the conference. Through the utilisation of the Whova platform, we will be live-streaming a significant portion of the event and hosting several dedicated online sessions for delegates who are unable to travel to Manchester.
We are currently in the process of confirming a lineup of inspiring speakers, ensuring that the agenda is packed with informative and thought-provoking sessions.
The conference is now open for early registration, presenting a unique opportunity for public sector colleagues to learn, network, and collaborate. Don’t miss out on this exceptional event.
