As talent expectations evolve the public sector must rethink how they attract and retain top professionals. To support our members with these issues surrounding the recruitment and retainment of staff iNetwork are hosting an online event on “Doing Recruitment Differently in the Public Sector” on Tuesday 3rd June.

We will be joined by three speakers from across local authorities, Voluntary Community & Social Enterprise (VSCE) organisations and others to support and influence the art of the possible in recruitment in the public sector.

  • Hollie Walmsley from Chorley and South Ribble Council will join us to discuss their ‘Reimaging Recruitment’ work. This was the winner of the iNetwork Innovation Awards 2024/25!
  • Nick Clayton & Charli Dickenson will join us from Winning Hearts and Minds, a VCSE based in Manchester who will talk about their recruitment of ‘fieldworkers’ who work in front facing community roles.
  • We will also be joined by Duncan O’Leary from the New Futures Network who will be discussing their work connecting prison leavers with the civil service – could this be a potential avenue for local public sector?

We think this event would be perfect for those working in HR or involved in the recruitment or interview processes within your organisations. To find out more and register for your ticket, click here. We hope you can join us!
