We are very excited to announce the newest addition to our iNetwork family: Lucy Hamilton, who joins us as a Stakeholder Engagement Manager. Lucy is currently on Impact, the Local Government Graduate Scheme as a National Management Trainee.

In her role, Lucy will head the Connected Procurement & Commissioning (CPC) programme and will be responsible for organising the iNetwork activities that support the network of procurement practitioners, commissioners and contract managers within the iNetwork partnership. She will deliver the priorities for the CPC programme as set by the CPC network leadership group, chaired by Peter Schofield, Manchester City Council.

Lucy has just spent the last 6 months working in the Policy & Scrutiny team at Tameside MBC and has previously studied Philosophy at the University of Leeds. After graduating, Lucy has undertaken a Masters Degree in Global Ethical Challenges, which included a placement at The Science Museum, working on the ethics of patronage.

Lucy is excited about her new position at iNetwork and is looking forward to applying the knowledge of how the policies and strategies set by the central government are implemented at a local government level.

On her appointment to the role, Lucy commented the following;

“I’m passionate about driving collaboration, efficiency, and forward-thinking solutions in the public sector to deliver the best services to citizens. I’m excited to join iNetwork and help foster collaboration among public sector professionals and showcase the innovative achievements coming out of local government. Outside of work, I love any form of live music, and am a big foodie so enjoy cooking, baking and trying out new places to eat. Looking forward to meeting all of you and supporting the impactful programmes at iNetwork.”

Please do reach out to Lucy to welcome her to the iNetwork family. If you have ideas for CPC event topics, or you would like support from the CPC programme, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Lucy can also be reached via Linkedin.
