In today’s rapidly changing public sector landscape, redesigning services isn’t just a one-off project, it’s an ongoing necessity. Budgets are tight, expectations are high, and citizen needs are evolving faster than ever.

To meet these challenges, we want to bring together people working in this space in a practical and powerful way to share knowledge, build confidence, and accelerate meaningful change cross organisationally. You are invited to join this group for the first meeting, which will be held online on Wednesday 10th September, register your attendance here.

This group brings together professionals from across the public sector including local authorities, housing, and the health sector who are working on similar challenges in service improvement. We anticipate this group would be perfect for those working in service redesign, business analysis, process mapping roles and more. These groups create a safe, collaborative space where members can:

  • Share lessons learned—both successes and failures.
  • Exchange tools, templates, and approaches.
  • Offer constructive feedback and moral support.
  • Explore new ideas before implementation.

Unlike formal training or consultancy, peer support groups leverage real-world experience. This means the advice and insights are grounded in reality, not theory. They also help break down silos, fostering a culture of openness and innovation across the public sector.

As the group develops we envisage that each session may take on a theme, whether that be around improving the customer journey, cost savings, governance. In order for the group to have true impact cross organisationally key insights and processes will be documented.
